Overview
Warehouse, retail and suspended floors
We set out, form, pour and finish slabs for commercial and industrial builds, from apartment and retail floors to distribution centres, yards and hardstands.
Big floors are set out by 3D laser screed straight from CAD and checked with Trimble X9 scanning. Formwork, pumping, placing and finishing are all done by our own crews.
What’s included
Ground slabs for retail and commercial buildings
Suspended and mezzanine slabs
Steel-fibre warehouse floors
Yards, hardstands and forecourts
3D laser screed placing
Commercial and Industrial Slabs
Slabs for every kind of build
Residential · Commercial
Suspended floors
Second-storey, mezzanine and podium floors, including composite Traydeck slabs, on townhouses, apartments, retirement villages and warehouses.
Commercial
Retail and commercial floors
Large on-ground floors poured back to back alongside other trades. Mitre 10 Mega Pāpāmoa was nearly 10,000 m² of 150 mm, 40 MPa laser-screeded slab.
Industrial
Warehouse and industrial floors
Steel-fibre floors laid with a 3D laser screed, with armour joints and column isolations, like the 3,837 m², 175 mm warehouse floor at the Mitre 10 distribution centre.
Commercial · Industrial
Yards, hardstands and forecourts
Steel-fibre yards, heavy-duty truck hardstands and fuel forecourts, from the 200 mm truck-stop hardstand at Z Tauriko to Bakels pavement that took traffic within 48 hours.
Industrial · Civil
Specialist and civil slabs
Engineered pads and base slabs where tolerance matters: the Bakels silo pad held to under 5 mm, weigh bridge pits in a 1,200 m² raft, and a 300 mm U3-finish base slab at Te Puke.

Expertise
What sits behind the work
3D laser screed
A Ligchine Screedsaver Max Plus sets big floors and yard falls straight from the CAD model.
Trimble X9 scanning
Used to check floor levels against the design.
Steel-fibre concrete
Fibre-reinforced floors and yards using Dramix, Dynaforce and Radforce fibres at the engineer's dosage.
Tight tolerances
The Bakels silo pad was held to less than 5 mm across the whole pad, with three rises and falls for drainage.
Big-pour logistics
Early starts, two booms and two trucks running at once, and back-to-back pours alongside other trades.
Floor finishes
Power-floated and steel-trowelled finishes, including U3, by our own finishing crews.
